Exciting News: The Flyest

Yours truly will be watching the items extremely closely and may have to tuck a couple things into my bag when nobody is looking.

Trend: One shoulder

Looks like one of the biggest trends for 2009 is everywhere now. The one shoulder/asymmetric line has hit everywhere. The prom style dress seems to be making way for a more tailored cocktail style which I'm loving although I have to say I do love the dramatic nipped waist and pouffy skirt.

I managed to pick up a bargain at my usual haunt ASOS for my birthday, and in the fortnight of dresses, this one was my favourite. A black dress with black organza hearts each with white stitching round each one.

I must say there is a lot out there at the moment with this style and some may not suit all body shapes as I have square shoulders the one shoulder that cuts across the chest isn't as flattering as the one shoulder style, so watch out for that!

As for my fabulous fortnight of dresses, I did also wear a backless high bustle backed prom dress; high and short in a red and black organza teamed with my red shoes from The Flyest, and a beautiful light blue dress from Zara complete with hot pink accessories. 

Go and seek the wonder that is the one shoulder.

Seems like I have an obsession with purple ..... ?

F*ck the "bang on trend" shit for a minute.

I am wondering whether other people go through obsessions with colour like I do? Last year I was on red a lot, I have hoards of red tops, belts and even a pair or beautiful red shoes courtesy of The Flyest that I love SO much. Then there was the pink one. And I used to HATE pink with a passion.

The past few months, well more like six or so months I only seem to be drawn to all things purple. I'm no colour expert, but I thought colours are attached to moods and attitudes? 

If so, what mood am I currently in and is it a good one? 

Shoes ..... hot to DEATH! I'd shank a bitch for these.

Now, I have to sing the praises of Mr Gentles AGAIN as he done did it again. I have another pair of custom shoes courtesy of him and his skills. The Flyest are basically his skilled artwork on shoes, bags, belts jackets etc. as long as it's leather. 

I love him SO much for these. All Saints stilettos with zip detail up the back of the shoe and I'm telling you I was prepared to kill for these, luckily I didn't have to. Cos I'm telling you I woulda packed them up and brought them with me to prison and shanked hardened crims to keep these.

Aye, Papi - look at my shoes, yo!

So it's been a good few days since I got hold of the shoes I so dearly wanted, and I have worn them already (my birthday pardee, thanx to all that came and those that sent texts, called me blab blah blah)

Here are the shoes. Thanx to my boy The Flyest. They really are the flyest, yo.
